Sylvie Bernier holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in International Health Management, and has actively promoted healthy living for almost 30 years.

She worked for more than 20 years in the media, contributing to Olympic Games coverage from 1988 to 2004. She was also a feature reporter for more than 15 years for the television program Salut, Bonjour!, covering stories about family and healthy lifestyle habits.

In April 2012, Québec en Forme announced their association with Sylvie Bernier. As a healthy lifestyle ambassador, her role is to influence decision-makers to help young people adopt and maintain healthy lifestyle habits. Given her concern about the health of Quebec's young people, this mandate is particularly important to her.

Sylvie Bernier has been granted the Order of Quebec and Order of Canada awards. Sylvie is convinced that we can all do our part to promote healthy lifestyle choices among young people. She strongly believes in the mission and values of Québec en Forme and wants to lend her celebrity to this cause.
